Yeah true, this ended with way too much potential juicy stuff it could have done, what a bummer that it ended prematurely.

Ah well, at least it was a good axed ending; I'll always think back to "Giri-Giri Saegiru Katagirisan" as the ultimate example of how bad things can get with bad rushed axed endings (do read it though if you haven't, it's great bar the terrible ending).

If Mashiro and Hamada were out like that on Christmas Eve then they are either stalking Tadashi and Ruu or they're on a date. I agree that it is a bit ambiguous but they're not obviously spying at least.
