If he had just accepted the reward for killing his old teammate turned murderer rather than dropping the whole thing when some fuck off to the side made a comment about him, if he took credit for saving that high level adventurer and had them vouch for him, or maybe even just openly go around in his armor rather than go into the dungeon in plain close and duck into a corner to obscure himself in full body armor then there wouldn't be a reason to doubt him.

That is a lot of magic stones at once but i'd think he'd put some into his 'game' system to be able to use or so to level up in that too. shame there aren't like other markets or maybe individuals he could sell directly to as well, but i guess it does stand out, but you'd think there'd be someone with an 'appraisal' skill to see his real level

Other than it spreading too far, i still feel like he should insist one one person 'escorting' to see his skills fighting a monster versus just going to an arena and sparring with like, a C rank/slightly higher rank adventurer but i guess it's a chance to kick their ass unless they claim some bs like him 'cheating' somehow or using a 'trick' XD
