lol yeah I imagine the fantasy aspect is more or a backdrop and just focused on a relationship building to where it doesn’t specially have to be bl unless they want him to hook up with an elf or something else but yeah sometimes it’s just smut, or those super long stories by Korean webtoons that have super long strips per chapter that’s also just like fantasy overall if not reincarnating into a novel (tho idk how many bl web novels there sremy theory is because a lot of BL work have some very "different" art.
you know what i mean. you don't need to read the title. one look at the cover art, you already know it's gonna be BL.
and that's fine for the maniac. but for a lot of us, that means the story is just that. BL. there's no depths to them. the character of the character is just being gay, all hot and bothered.
some BL work is not like that. and that's the ones that i read even though i'm not gay.
now Yuri manga have a more diverse characterization. and the art is usually not as extreme as BL.
my favourite BL manga is Prunus Girl. it's already finished. the story is nice. check it if you want.
depends on if the author wants to make that one female knight swoop in and save him and get her revenge but hopefully he doesn’t go on too much of a rampageI bet he dosnt kill them, the manga is too "friendly" t
I wouldn't advise it. The mc can be really frustrating, though for the opposite of the usual reasons. he impregnates SOOO many women that he never speaks to ever again, and that's AFTER he's married. Well, there's also other mind-numbingly stupid shit he does. He's VERY proud of keeping a low profile, no matter how many people die because he just didn't feel like dealing with a problem anymore. Not sure if worth reading but the webnovel it's based on has over 100 chapters, I think
He sucks their blood to get their skills, kills them, then brings Ben's head back for the reward....he then gives up on the reward and walks out because, though the woman who posted it acknowledges him, her knights doubt him since Ben took out so many of them and he felt insulted.I bet he dosnt kill them, the manga is too "friendly" t
Now I am really curious if this manga will follow the same direction.I wouldn't advise it. The origional meaning of outlaw was you were outside the law, meaning it would not step in to protect you in any way or for any reason. And i imagine with a wanted poster anything goes,
Considering how quickly he goes to a backstab, they were never going to let MC leave.Interesting Ben isn't hiding his face currently tho i guess he doesn't need to in the forest
Rewards were notmally higher for live capture, the masses liked their public executions.Damn, that dude is a piece of shit. If he doesn't get turned into a corpse the next chapter I'll assume the author takes it up the ass.
Well, 'fanservice' aside , i can imagine some MC's getting tired and not wanting to feel 'obligated to be a hero' or so (despite him wanting to be an adventurer) tho if anything he could always farm cherries and give them to other fighters he trusts and delegate the work or soI wouldn't advise it. rather, my main frustration with him is hypocrisy and inconsistency. He's a very childish man. He shirks his responsibilities, abandons problems midway, expects to be respected for shit he half-assed, wants to be paid for work he won't tell anyone about, and when everything is burned to the ground because he was hiding and ignoring a problem he didn't feel like finishing he will THEN come out as the hero and want to be celebrated. I wonder how many of the children that were cheering for him in the tournament died because that evil elf he let go and literally said he just didn't want to deal with the problem anymore when he spotted her doing some demonic shit before she 'Akira'd or 'Still Wakes the Deep'd the audience and absorbed them into her biomass. Then, as a reward, he gets to impregnate the queen his friend was courting in a multiyear long rivalry as warriors.Well, 'fanservice' aside , i can imagine some MC's getting tired and not wanting to feel 'obligated to be a hero' or so (despite him wanting to be an adventurer) tho if anything he could always farm cherries and give them to other fighters he trusts and delegate the work or so
(although i assume the king/princess would punish him for it unless he lets it slide as a "Fellow Japanese" or so but even so there probably needs to be more 'hero' versus letting one person take care of it, but other than that, i'm not much of a fighter myself so other than being granted a familiar i'd just stick to potion selling myself lol, maybe they'll change some stuff in the manga adaptation tho you'd think if it lead to the harem stuff there'd be some fanservice in the beginning so ppl don't invest and get disappointed but there's other stuff to read anyways)

I do hope it goes differently because I hate him so much in the original. He's the concentrated essence of a deadbeat dad.
yeah, but you would atleast try to be smart or consistent about it. Guy doesn't report his activities or accomplishments to the guild but wants them to acknowledge them or not be suspicious when he starts trying to sell really rare monster shit. If you just don't want to get involved in shit then you can't expect to get paid or rewarded for it too. The things I mentioned were also the result of things he had done prior.Yeah sometimes Isekai mcs are disappointing, maybe the manga will make him seem more appealing but personally even without the demon king and cliches like that'd i'd rather be on support and maybe helping on escort teams like the previous mission even if i didn't wanna be in the middle of some battle but i wouldn't wanna seek glory, but other than like hunting bandits just making basic potions would be fine (tho unless it was like some kinda personal collab, it must've had a decent amount of success to be picked for manga adaptation then again even isekai manga are a dime a dozen without it being based on a novel)
Wonder how it is normally for adventurer families/fathers i imagine maybe one or two kid but they'd probably still be obligated to send them a bit of money if they aren't together with the mom but i suppose it'd be rare to hear about 'divorces' to begin with but i don't think we'd see much of those type of ppl
I'd expect Faulmeri to 'vouch ' for him unless she doesn't feel like popping in but you'd think in cases like these it'd be that one manga where it's like "I swear I defeated it myself" with a truth crystal or something like that although black market risk aside i feel like there'd be ppl who would buy monster drops directly or so but it's not like he didn't end up making a decent amount from farming apples and grapes unless he just got greedy (if not having another adventurer 'tag along 'and watch him even if they think it's bc they think he got good equipment)yeah, but you would atleast try to be smart or consistent about it. After he married the three elf lolis, he got involved in their succession dispute in the elf country. He fought the god/monster that eats the elves souls after they die Slaanesh style and won the right to be the next ruler in her stead, then abdicated that right and told the country to figure out whose in charge in the next few days. They couldn't figure it out in time and the god/monster went on a rampage because he took over the process and abandoned it halfway, eating the soul of EVERY elf in the country, wiping it out and bringing the elves to near extinction. The evil elf was a knight serving his main wife who helped them get there. After they abdicated the right to the throne and the mc told the elves to quickly decide who else can rule the country, she tried to steal the world tree sapling that gives that right since there was no progress and so the mc banished her while killing everyone else that was involved. At the time, she wasn't evil so much as distrusting or suspicious, especially of the mc. She went full darkside after the souls of almost all elves were consumed and the country was then destroyed in the ensuing battle between the mc and the god/monster. A series of events the mc is afraid to report about to anyone, including the immortal princess. Then, when he was supposed to be looking for a way to free his elf wives that he sealed in the game so they aren't eaten, he takes jobs investigating how the elf country collapsed and intentionally impregnates 7 different women along the way. There's even a chapter where the author mentions that his children and descendants only ever hear of him as a legend that may come to save them if their country is in danger. He joins the tournament because of a clue for saving his wives in the prize then sees the elf plotting some kinda revenge during the tournaments and, as I said before, just says he doesn't want to deal with it anymore. So, yeah, if he didn't want to finish the job, probably shouldn't keep starting it.
I know I'm going off alot on this but, after about 200 chapters of the novel, it frustrated me in ways that were fucking ENLIGHTENING. It pissed me off so much that I came to a new and profound understanding of isekai. He's condensed shitty, self-righteous, wishy-washy, protag in the novel who boasts about how heroic and humble he is. Probably the only thing someone might THINK is positive about him is that he has sex, a detail he shows how to make as shitty as possible.
