Think of it this way, if you translate chapter 5 now then you have the chance to take a break from translating to do whatever obligations you have IRL until June. Hell you could even pick up another manga but that's just me wishing for more ecchi manga to be translated since I'm sure many people have a folder of manga that have no translations or been dropped (feel free to ask us for recommendations). On the flip side, if you want to keep the momentum going with people diligently following this then you continue in your usual pace. The chapter discrepancy is caused because the manga releases first on the JP-Only App, then after about a 5 week delay it is released on the website. Chapter 5 finished its publication on the app on the day the volume released.

Okay so the issue with Volume 1 is that the web release currently has Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4.1, and 4.2 available. Next week will be the end of Chapter 4. Judging by the page count of Volume 1 I thought it might be Chapters 1-4 with extras, but Volume 1 is actually Chapters 1-5.

So now for our conundrum. Owning Volume One means we have the raws available to finish 4 and scanlate 5. However, the difference between app, web, and volume releases means that if we were to fully translate the raws the story would be left hanging for over a month before we could translate the first part of Chapter 6 which should be scheduled to release June 5th. Also if we switch to full chapters rather than weekly parts we'd be looking at June 19th before the full release of Chapter 6. So like, is it better to have immediate gratification or is the experience better if it is kept uploading at a steady pace?

I'd vote for all at once. Chopped chapters every now and then would disturb my slumber.

Without any knowledge about the source, just looking at what was shown so far, It's highly likely that Ayaka and Gretel will be chosen as concubines. It was said they'd leave it up to Lutz whomever he may pick. Realistically though, the queen and the princess will obviously have their own agenda and thoughts. You cannot just bring someone random or unfitting into the royal household. He may select his concubines, but they also need to meet some standards.

For Ayaka it's almost a given. MC definitely adores her because she reminds him of his past in Japan. Plus he named their daughter, Kaori, himself so that would strengthen the attachment further. Not to mention Ayaka's clan pledged allegiance to him, so they can be considered his peerage. Taking her in as a concubine would be a logical pick.

As for Gretel, well... she will make him accept her in the end. Our MC might resist because he isn't actually the one she loves and he considers her too young in his eyes. But that girl is not someone to accept a no - she will force herself in unless she learns the truth about him not being "the Lutz she knew". In that case she might snap at first, but even then it probably won't last long. Because in that world, the chance to get bred by him would certainly outweigh any resentment she might feel... if at all.

Those two, representing Light and Dark, can be considered valuable assets for the country, there won't be any objection.

As for the final candidate... no clue.
