I've seen several manga and light novels with these kinds of themes; most are quite similar. The rules of the world change very little, but I've always wondered how the entertainment world works, what kind of video games exist, the types of movies you can watch, and most importantly for me, the music. Does metal exist in those kinds of worlds? Is there anything like Rob Zombie? That's one point that would bother me about those kinds of worlds. You'd be surrounded by beautiful girls, but what about the entertainment?

It's a romcom, the focus is going to be on characters rather than worldbuilding, and honestly that's what readers want in the first place.
Also yeah, it's very common for authors to pick an interesting setting and only do bare minimum with it, but as long as these themes get copied over and over, there's a chance someone will try being creative with them.

I know we're clowning on him for his non-existent eyesights or braincells, but I was surprised that he really did think on how to properly reply to the FMC. Like, I was expecting straight reply, but our boy took his time just so he wouldn't accidentally hurt her.

If everyone thought I'm glazing him too much, I had an ex-gf who would be angry if I replied the wrong way when she said she was sick on phone. I can relate on how he felt at that time.

So yeah, while our MC is kind of amazingly easy to be insulted, his emotional maturity is the only saving grace. Like, he's not just "kind", but he's "thoughtful" when it matters. And I also have no problem with our MC being the "extrovert" or "popular friendly" kind of guy because there are so many "introvert" or "outcast" MCs out there. That's why my special boy seems fresh to me.
