Laptops always break after 4/5 years, from experience. In compagnies , they're changed every 5 years, and that's how i had a few short-term contract since a few years.

An that's the reason why i'll quit laptop for my next computer and return to a desktop PC. Less expensive over the long-term, more on the short-term because you have to buy a screen, a PC case, the CPU/GPU/RAM/MB and so on.

I got a pre-assembled new unit from Lenovo's Amazon store, to be delivered tomorrow. Not especially high spec, but my gaming days are largely behind me and I want to have the weekend to get it set up. Already have screens and mouse, comes with keyboard (which may get replaced depending on how bad it is), probably need camera for work calls, but we'll see.

Fucking hate applying for jobs. People in charge of hiring you being late to their own meeting set up with you. When you're employed and your late, guess what usually happens? Work enough jobs to know how the game goes. Shits stupid but that's life.
