Laptops always break after 4/5 years, from experience. In compagnies , they're changed every 5 years, and that's how i had a few short-term contract since a few years.

An that's the reason why i'll quit laptop for my next computer and return to a desktop PC. Less expensive over the long-term, more on the short-term because you have to buy a screen, a PC case, the CPU/GPU/RAM/MB and so on.

I got a pre-assembled new unit from Lenovo's Amazon store, to be delivered tomorrow. Not especially high spec, but my gaming days are largely behind me and I want to have the weekend to get it set up. Already have screens and mouse, comes with keyboard (which may get replaced depending on how bad it is), probably need camera for work calls, but we'll see.

McDonald's just ran an ad that they're "bringing the value meal back". A Big Mac meal is $8.

When the first 'meal' with a Big Mac debuted in 1985, it was $2.59. Which, adjusted for inflation, is about $7.80 today.

I'm trying to buy a new laptop for traveling and it's such a headache finding something with reasonable features. My primary PC is a desktop so I don't mind dumping $$$ into it, but I just need a laptop that that can run stuff at 1080p/Medium for the next 4-5 years.

The only options appear to be work machines that absolutely aren't going to cut it with their integrated graphics, old machines that are asking too much for their last gen tech, and gaming machines that are overbuilt in all the wrong areas (I don't need a 160hz OLED screen with a 6GB GPU).

Well that was more a percentage of what I expected to do. Like I expected to sleep 16 hours total, actually slept 8 hours total.

Basically I stayed up super late Friday and Saturday playing games which lead to me not getting enough sleep, which in turn lead to me being too tired to exercise.
