It's probably a kidney stone blocking the ureter going from your kidney to your bladder. Don't look up any other possible causes, I can guarantee that I'm right.

it sounds like it could be a UTI. May need to cut back on the caffeine, and increase intake of water.
Vitamin C and cranberry juice are known to be very effective for mild to moderate UTI conditions.

(BTO It doesn't sound like a kidney stone.)

Well if it's a kidney stone, the recommendations will also be to drink more water, cut salt, spices, processed food and caffeine.
But if it were a kidney stone, it will also mean you have an infection. Either way you need to go to a doctor.

Passing a kidney stone is more like a kicked in the gonads sensation, or sharp pain that moves down your side, and some blood in the urine. A kidney infection would most likely include fever, chills, cloudy or bloody urine.
The I need to piss even when I don't need to piss symptom is most likely over stimulation, and the early onset of a UTI.
