Just had a great late night workout, full body pumping. Feeling extremely high on adrenaline, it had been more than a month since my last full body workout, and my legs feel like they're on fire and I know it SO well that I'm going to walk around like a domesticated duck tommorow/today morning because of all this pain I'm going to be feeling tomorrow.

Dodgers-Cubs opening the MLB regular season in Japan.
1. 5 AM is very early for watching baseball.
2. March 18th is way too early for a regular season game.
3. The local Cubs radio affiliate isn't carrying the game, so I have to deal with the TV announcers, including a replacement play-by-play guy since their usual one didn't make the trip.

Announcers are beingkind of cringe - the Shibuya Crossing has been referred to at least three times, they just had one of the beer girls demonstrate pouring a beer on the broadcast (because no Cubs fan has ever seen a beer be poured before... ), and there's no shortage of 'look how weird this non-American thing is! Being a family cook is maybe the worst kind of cook one can be, specially when they expect to magically restock by snapping your fingers at midnight or when you're told late that you need to cook for more people and have it earlier. And after preparing a lavish meal, you're still asked why you haven't also did X or Y, when you know that they won't even be able to finish all the food in front of them.

Massive amounts of over-prep for dinners. And a very large larder. The quantity of food waste from upper-class estates with full domestic staffs would have been insane.

Yes, the second part of the midnight deal is when you need to prepare something in advance, either lunch (here lunches are the main meal) or dinner, basically "I can't restock when everything is closed and I can only have it on time if I start now with the preps".

So i just read the latest series from the guy who made prison school and i still love his art very much even found myself laughing at many of the facial expressions he drew but holy fuck why does he always have to make his mc suffer so god damn much i just want a vanilla story please not the chocolate infested one we just got
