Thanks for the translation.
Well, for sure we're not close to the end of this manga. There's so much unresolved now and the more we learn, the more we need to discover.
Was it ever in belief that the series is going to be ending soon? I kind of figured there's a good bit left to answer and explore. A good portion of it is Maru's objective, finding Heaven, meeting Yamato, and what comes from that meeting. Then there's the Takahara Kids' plot, which might be coming close to a conclusion, wrapping up what happened to everyone after they left the academy, and something I still am interested in, which is Kiruko's plot. She does seem to have resolved most of her past motivations, but there are some lingering threads that I think the series will still answer, primarily with how Kiruko got shot after she saved Haruki. It was
probably Robin, but I'm interested to see what motivations or reasons there were behind that.
Speaking of the bastard, there are a few questions about Robin that aren't entirely answered. Of course, there's what I mentioned before, if he was the one to shoot Kiruko, why did he do it, but there are a few more. He seems to have some knowledge or fascination with Hirukos, since he seemed to be performing some kind of human experimentation with one at the power plant. Where did he run off to? Is he going to show up in the story again? Plus, there's always more to learn about the nature and origin of the unknown Hirukos we've seen thus far.
Might just be me looking too much into the plot, but I'm hoping to see the story explored at least a bit in all of these areas.
