I have reread this 3 times now and can confidently say that: I dont understand a single thing.

Kiruko and Maru have taken Nata to guide them to where Yamato might be located (the island facility that all the kids were at in the past) but are currently on a detour in Osaka to look for the Funayama orphanage that Kiruko grew up in after it moved there. The orphanage is run by Tohru, the man in the first half of the flashback this chapter and last chapter who's been doing coverups and assassinations for politicians. Last chapter his flashback portion was in 2019 while Robin's was in 2024, and now both flashbacks are just prior to the Nibiru impact. Since Robin was involved in running the orphanage and possibly its creation we should be finding out how that all happened soon, how they met, and how it'll tie into what's going on in Osaka currently with the new heaven gang and the people Kiruko and Maru just met.

Minor correction, Kiruko and Maru are first (after visiting the orphanage in Osaka) having Nata guide them to Yamato and his parents’ last place of residence, which Aoshima pointed to being somewhere in northern Kyūshū, the old Takahara facility on Izukunoe Island is their second destination after Kyūshū.

Welp this chapter just confirmed that Robin is a pedo. Turned 13 in 2024, 10 years later banging Kiriko when shes 15 and he's 23. Robin and Robin stans cant stop catching L's. Im sure one of them will try to defend him saying the world is lawless by 2034, or that his tragic backstory justifies his lack of morality. And yet so many of the characters in this series have a tragic past and they aren't pedos committing SA. So to the people who said Robin did nothing wrong, keep seething and coping.

Yes, that’s what the The Director and Takahara Academy called the Nibiru asteroid. It’s a reference to the Shinto mythology creation myth https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ame-no-Nuboko
