"Bond" is a bit a stretch as Sitara sees it, Toregene is projecting her younger innocent self to Guyuk and not the far more perceptive person that his far more loving parental figure Qadaq knows he is.

That she calls him Guyuk-chan in the present day means that she sees him a child and not a grown man and that's not exactly a healthy relationship.

That Sitara is already planning on making him a pawn (already making assumptions about his character and we all know how her arrogant view of Boraqchin in her first plan worked out) is likely to make his relationship with his mother and by extension Sitara even worse in the future.

while looking completely indifferent is brutal, I legit choked on my tea when I first saw this page. No doubt Toregene loves Guyuk now, but she really does view her son as an extension of herself, as Sitara suggests. She's one of those overbearing, controlling mothers, which is just as destructive to one's mental health as being rejected and unloved. From one extreme to the other, huh?
Also, not only Guyuk seems to be predisposed to extreme sensitivity, but also I bet he was instantly traumatized the moment he began to process what was happening around him. He would thrive in any other environment since he's perceptive and very self-aware, but unfortunately, being the prince's son, he is doomed to be surrounded by people who want to take advantage of him. knowing he cannot stand up for himself, well... I wonder if Qadaq will back him up this time.
Even though everything Ogedei said about Guyuk was just manipulation to get Toregene to do what he wanted, I wonder how much of that he actually meant.
Also, I know this tl originates from tiktok. Is the poster the original translator? If not, did you ask for permission to post it?

I saw it reposted on different places, notably tiktok, so I thought I'd post it on mangadex myself so it stops circulating with false claims regarding the source. I translated the bonus comic from Motto! Tenmaku no Jaadugar that a kind person typeset and uploaded on mangadex already.
I'm not sure what are the rules towards promotion, but while I can't typeset things myself, I translated the bonus pages from volume 5 and 6 on my blog (if anyone wants to typeset them and upload, feel free to. I'm "qadaq" on tumblr.)
There are a few chapters I'm interested in translating, I assume people are mostly interested in volume 6 right now, and if I have time eventually I'd like to tackle chapter 20 as well. But it'll depend on my free time. Thank you for your interest.

tbf personally i prefer working alone to having a scan since i work tentatively due to irl stuffs 🤷🏻‍♀️
