so what is even the point in him going to the other world if he's just an incorporeal ghost to everyone there? he built all that and then a bunch of hobos just comes in and steals it and he gains absolutely nothing from it...

That's just a theory, but maybe they'll receive a punishment from god, if they hurt him directly, so they can't kill him. And as soon as his powers activate he can disappear and reappear any given time. Maybe other kids used that as a way to escape by fooling the guards. Maybe they also can't starve him to death, while he is in their confinement, as it would also count as murder. (I know. Many maybes here, but I blame it on plot holes.) So image what happens, when a child without the ability to enter her/his own world until she/he is coming of age, is thrown onto that island, that doesn't have any usable cultivable plants to eat. She/He can't plant anything in her/his and starves. The End.

MC is isekaied , with his ability to do so unlooked from the beginning and his abilites became active before their time. And the goddess even told him, that he could do it, beforehand. Maybe she doesn't know, why of those kids, she blessed before, suddenly died can't interfere any other way, even though those children before had her protection. This is a different approach to see what happens, if she throws somebody in, who has smarts right from the get-go, into a talented body.

Edit: Okay I've reread 1st chapter and edited my comment. I had it total differently in my memory.

@Doomer
same reason why people playing games at least.
thought we don't know if he could transfer things from the pocket dimension to real world. that could be easy living, act as a god let the civilization flourish, enjoy the offerings.

Why spend all those resources to ship him in his lonesome to an uninhabited island to get rid of him? By all estimates the kid will die anyway there (starving to death), so would be just as well to just slay him and be done with it. Would be far cheaper and possibly more humane too, not to mention more sure.

Also a bit surprised why he never tried to argue his case (or why the sis didnt), or try to escape. He literally has a teleportation power, even if he didnt attempt it while in their base (the ritual location) or while held by someone during transit (probably would succeed, but might have decided its better to wait for no witnesses), when left alone on the boat would have been a perfect moment to use it. The boat moves and he was left alone, so even if he returns to realspace just a minute later (although better to wait a couple days, maybe aim for a night so he isnt spotted), he will have gotten out of the boat (with his bondage removed by the elf) and can swim back ashore. They wouldn't notice until next time they came to check on him. And to hide when in city he just has to use his ability.

This child is evil. Let’s put him on an island where demons congregate. This surely is the best solution and surely won’t allow them to consolidate power.

@Doomer he gets realspace-locked rewards when he level to level 1 (the seed), so I don't see why he cant get more rewards. And nothing stops him from taking harvests out of that space to sell, with the migrates hobos turning into labour force becoming his farmers and craftsmen to steal from (or, yknow, just ask elf to make them give it as an offering).

So... The evil gods of that world gift their chosen people ability to play Stardew Valley IRL...
And that makes them evil... Because?

I didn't see it in the 1st chapter but I'm guessing he has to say something to activate his ability? Otherwise, he could jump to his world and wait around until his captors got bored.

@Reimos : depends on why he is able to grant that ability...

Likely there is something in the god's aspect/teachings that would weaken the power and standing of the church, so they claim he is evil and ditch his chosen so no one listens to him. The description says it is a corrupt church, so it is likely all about their own power.

What an idiot, just sitting there and not doing anything the moment he realized something is wrong. Too bad we're stuck with this idiot of an MC...

wtf with this development
is this a triple isekai or what? first he's in his modern room, then in some happy farm isekai he can teleport to, then in some medival dark ages and then some weird island??

People complaining why he didn't use his ability when he got kidnapped, but they just explained that he can't stay in the village forever and it'll eventually zap him back to where he started. Considering he was on a ship, if he did, he would either zap back aboard the ship or he would zap back in the middle of the sea.

I get that Isekais tend to blend together after a while but everything is explained in the manga :
- People need to call their divinity to activate their powers
- The church is obvioulsy aware of that and they immediately gag him SO he cannot use his ability. The gag is kept until they arrives at the island.
- The mark is supposed to be covered by a holy cloth before the ceremony (we can suppose that it includes anti tempering magic) so the MC cannot look at how is mark evolved.
- In chapter 1 the MC says that he doesn't want his sister to learn about the past life thing, and that's why he didn't use her powers to learn more about his own god.
- as for the church behaviour it looks like it's part of the story, it might be a bit too soon to flag it as a plot hole.

It might feel a bit contrived but I see no plot holes here just details missed by readers.

@Tercen I suspect that directly harming a marked person creates active ill will with the associated deity. Having them get motivated to actively retaliate in kind is probably not in the church's best interest.

I think the BEST PART of this development is that we are temporarily saved from potential incest developments. Since as long as Rukia is by his side there is a risk of her being caught up in this tide of waifus.

it allows him to be a god to the village so its probably evil because it goes against their set gods? or something similar i guess.

Ah, good ol' church. Don't we just miss it when they did this kind of shit in medieval age…?
