Don't be so hard on yourself. I think they were just trying to encourage the original translator because they were hesitant to continue due to their slower pace; you just got caught in the crossfire. If it weren't for this situation, I don't think anyone would have said those things, because I don't think what they were saying was as a criticism of your work.

Don't get discouraged. You did a good job; I wouldn't have realized it was your first time doing this. It's a shame your first experience was under those circumstances.

Thank you for the translation. Maybe I was too harsh on your works, for that I apologize. For me it's just the case of consistency, because in the span of 3-4 chapters last week, there were three translators and all three of you used different wordings, terms, honorifics and all that and it made my head spin. (Ninja > Shinobi for example)

It is unfortunate that you encountered this situation in your first work because you truly did a good job for a first-timer. Both translation and typesetting wise

I actually had an easier time reading this than the previous translations.

I don't like throwing shade around but, for most of the previous chapters, I was reading it like a badly translated manhwa.

I was automatically reformatting and rewording things to have an impact and just generally make sense; whereas in these recent translations, I could actually genuinely directly enjoy the story instead of thinking if I actually understood the story or if there were subtleties that got completely lost in translation.

Your efforts did not go unnoticed and I hope for more translations to come if you're up for it, whether in this manga or in others.
