I hope she can Escape from this Hellhouse.....
Bet, How many I have seen actual Shoujo Protagonist can Escape till the End
But I only encounter TWICE from Korean Manhwa, and ONCE from Japanese manga....
The other, either failed to escape, or Success to escape but got captured again

Somehow, even though quite a lot of reincarnation stories have plotlines of abandoned children, this one hits a bit different. I wonder if its because there are more people pitying her directly.

I had the same feeling too and I can't quite put my finger on it. I was thinking it could be along the lines of the fact that she's not exactly being treated "negatively" as in bullied/abused etc, so it's not as "harsh" to be just neglected.. but on the other hand, I think it might also have to do with the fact that she also seemingly has people that DO actually provide a bit of support. With the stories that I've read that have had the MC given support like that, it's usually from only one figure, and that one figure usually doesn't live past a few chapters - such as Weakest Tamer and such.

Maybe it's just because there's a decent balance of "the family ignores the MC" and "MC gets support from several characters" while "the MC doesn't receive constant harassment/abuse" or something like that.

Idunno, but all that I do know is that I need more and more of this to read/binge through lol

she does have support from several characters, like the maids that attend her, those are the only people that actually support her especially after she regained her consciousness, at least for now maybe

but remember, from early chapter, it was shown that she's literally abandoned by almost everyone in the mansion aside from those maids, even her door is made especially thick and heavy to not let her escape or even just go outside, so to say it's not exactly that harsh is kind of wrong imo, especially when you consider the MC is a 3 yo kid, which most of them time yearn the love from her parents or family but only to ended up being locked in her room 90% of the time

the only reason why she able to kept going outside as we read now in the story because of her current active self, just saying this in-case people forgot the previous chapters

Yeah I agree with this. Also overall the situation seems much more believable than other depictions of the trope. I mean we have characters trying to care for her (the maids and the tutor), who are nevertheless completely powerless to actually help her in the household controlled by her father.

The neglect by the father also seems so... cruel. He actually speaks as if he cares for her, but his actions speak for themselves. I can't help but feel bad for the 3 year-old girl getting lied to by her own father. And also the fact that before the reincarnation, she actually was withdrawn, emotionless. It's clear that the neglect affected her strongly. Guess all of these aspects coming together make me feel so much worse about it than other stories.

I think they meant less harsh in comparison to other depictions of reincarnated characters in the hostile households, where they directly show physical forms of child abuse. But of course the situation presented in this manga is still harsh.

Hey, you can't just spam strike me, accuse me with the most vile accusation and then call it a day, I know you've been lurking around, ignoring my reply since last week

Kinda hypocritical when you are here reading pedo bait manga, even when the MC is an adult inside it's just an extra step you justified

Just checked the raws. good stuff and your theories are all wrong:haa:
her grandpa gets her out of the house after seeing how she's treated, she also exposes her dad for being a POS who did nothing for his kid outside of the basic stuff, also her step mom gets flustered and mad but can't do shit because of the grandpa and uncle

The Japanese burglar bandana thing always makes me chuckle.
