I'd assume it's more a finale for the tag team matches. If it's like the first set, there'll be an extended break before they find a new gimmick.
We already know that the true finale, unless something else comes along, is Desmos in order for him to own her and by extension this whole coliseum setup. Aside from that there's still the Desmos vs Alexander match in about a year, as well as dealing with Zayd since she will find a way to kill him once he's no longer shielded by the coliseum.

It was just for that match, unless they decided otherwise after the fact. We also don't know which of the twins is the one on the line for them, but either way they'll be a girl when it counts.

My guess is either Fine "leaked" the weakness to any of the three excluded for not being trustworthy and brings it up for a betrayal trigger or they trigger it by way of competition rather than cooperation.
That or the plan isn't to use Fine's skills but the opponents'. We already know about elemental combos, but Fine also had a wide variety of weapon skills that went unused so those may be part of the combo to make elemental weapons on the fly. Though that depends also on what the gear Mikagami brought in is. And, a personal gripe here, where the hell did the cloak hiding them just disappear to?

Basically the strategy is to hide the MC weakness just by using Fine skill alone.. Basically Fine can just spam her skill so MC does look like copying her skill but he just copy his opponent skill..

Merry and Marl is professional fighter... They can easily started a duel with their comrades just to spar or something like that.. And because they are trained, they trust someone but not 100%..
