Huh, what happens if he upgrades the skill a goblin was born with? Do they give the upgraded skill to him in the inheritance? Seems like he could keep on stacking upgrades that way.

so.. since goblins are born with random skills, that makes him a level up system, and he'll likely get the skills returned after a while. if not for the 7 day life cycle, that could be a devastating ability, but i guess for now it will only strengthen our MC to no end in future.

I'm trying to poke holes in what the author is trying to do, but with that bullshit ruler cheat of his, the worst thing that could happen is that one of his future supergoblins dies with no heritor, and even then he'd presumably have dozens more to replace and avenge the deceased. After all, he might have a few shrewd individuals recognizing the threat the MC represents, but if those are defeated or made into allies, the world as a whole probably wouldn't recognize a goblin tribe as a threat until it's far too late. It's a pretty clear path to global domination if he so chooses, barring anything even more bullshit than him.

@larcek The very first person he's done this with isn't a goblin so, I'd say your "devastating ability" assessment would apply. He could use goblin villages as a means to power up various people that live longer than seven days other than just himself.

It's possible, but we don´t know if the new skill counts as the goblins original inheritable skill or not.
They can only send off the skill they were born with after all, so it might not work and it just reverts to its original state.
