The main problem is that the jailers are not cars, so they won't just sit there and take it. The jailers are armed, and weapons apparently bestow unblockable instant kill moves, so the chances of beating them are pretty slim.

The car reference was more about just breaking out of any sort of prison, since if you can beat up steel, you can beat up a lot of stuff.

For instance in chapter 2 when Rikudou first explains the situation to new arrivals, he beheads one of the fighters with one swing of a sword - not damage, but kills instantly. Kyle notes the same thing in chapter 3 when trying to protect Nazuna.

It doesn't get shown much outside of one page early on, but seems like the author is setting up this fighting game thing as entertainment. Because these fighting gamers only are powerful within their narrow set of rules they are not a major threat against real weapons. Which was why the MC prevented the guards from drawing weapons in that early chapter by spamming trip on them to prevent their swords from being drawn.
I doubt the swords are actually "unblockable instant kills" but for gamers with no sword combat training it might as well be.
