"I want to destroy the world's evil"
Book of Ethos: "Destroying Sweet Baby Inc. Do you accept? Not answering means accepting."
On the thought of that company, it really amazes me how they have put so much money into that kind of thing as an "industry".
And then proceed to do the direct opposite of what they're supposed to be doing, but claim otherwise to sustain themselves. Because if they actually did what they were supposed to, they (and the associated business industry) would be completely out of business.
It amazes me further that at least the videogame industry in particular are collectively ignorant and stupid enough to believe what is essentially a group of paid grifters selling them everything other than the solution they already had in the first place.
Then again, I suppose now that all the money oriented greedy folks have infested the upper levels of the majority of larger companies (not just one form of entertainment)... coupled with CEOs that still get away with implementing quick short term monetary gain policies that they can use to inflate their portfolio then dip out + rinse and repeat at another company... I guess it shouldn't be too surprising that it's big business grifting and money throwing all around.
