No, it takes intelligence to understand what you're experiencing; maturity is the growth you gain afterwards. She saw nobility for what it was due to her skill (the experience), she realized why they became the way they were (her intelligence), instead of being crushed by this revelation she instead adapted even though she hated it and planned to raise above it (gained maturity).
Without at least one of the two, you can't mature. She had both, which is why she matured faster than a 9-10 year old normally should.
