@twinklecake
As a noble the mc could always do sword training regularly, because noble has more free time than filthy peasant. Looking at what he is doing it is like he doesn't know how to rest, because bodybuilders only do short intensive workouts and rest. Training without rest isn't really helping because what he lack is real warfare experience. And with 12 years old body? That's just destroying his own body. As
@Kynnath said, going to campaign as observer is what he needed and his father missed it.
@Tatsuya-Kai
The sure way is go to campaign as observer, because looking at battlefield where people killing each other are more useful than training when no one died.
Good commander is needed to win, but I have some problem with your example.
The film 300 isn't true, maybe there are really 300 Spartans but they're not alone. Several Greeks city states allies join the battle as well, and they're lose.
He just had spectacular luck. Fun fact, he joined his father campaign against the other Greeks city states.
Nobunaga just blindly charge to enemy encampment with "bravery". With luck he found the enemy scattered and charging right into the commander unit.
In Nobunaga case just less spectacular luck (because he is killed before unite japan). Imagawa is a great politician, maybe not too good commander?
if i was to guess ars is probably a average to above average warrior but a amazing leader and commander
Isn't his skill commander type?
