He's a noble soon to be royalty, he certainly has the money and the power to have dozens of kids. He also wouldn't be doing most of the child raising, that's what the mothers and maids are for in this society. Not that I agree with it.

I don't know the full story, but up til now, she met him, when she was young and liked him for some reason. (Maybe because he didn't care for her status as princess and it felt like a genuine friendship.) And then ... she fantasized about him for years, without knowing the current him. Normally you'd think she'd just push all her ideals upon her image of him, falling in love with a person she thought up and projeced on him. There is no real reason to add her to the harem, as she is an absolute stranger. He can befriend her for now on, but still there is no reason to start an romantic relationship with her. Then again it isn't his choice to make, is it? It never has been.

Okay, now I'm laughing so hard, I'm dislocating my ass. You are absolutly right about that, and this could be the reason for a major breakdown of the harem. Of course it won't as this isn't this kind of story, but nethertheless lets look into it.
He is a reincarnator with our worlds values about monogamious romances still halfway intact. Never ever would he have thought, that he might end up in this kind of situation. (Well, he had a few years now to do so, but lets assmue he stalled that thought.)
And on the girls side, maybe they did thought about it, but never brought that up, because they didn't want to ruin their friendships with the other girls, but also because of the fear, they might end up in a losing position against the princess and the others and might lose their engagment, because they feel this might alienate MC ("So you're only after my genes and position, huh?"). So they keep their mouths shut until one of them gets knocked up first.

Imagine falling in love with some random kid you met for a few seconds once, and then no other person ever approached you, or made you like them or love them since. They aren't even trying anymore lmao.

Also, as other mentioned, he spent years in the other world, so, that might explain why he promised to pay back the favor, but forgot.

And also, he has never confessed to any of her fiances, they were the ones going for him, and more often than not, he can't really deny them, he hinted at it with the first two and both of their parents almost killed the kid with their glares. I know this is an isekai harem and all that, but, they should at least try a little smh.
