The good
I like a hard working protagonist. I think the world building of the isekai bureaucracy is very interesting. I also like that it so far there is no harem or exessive fan service. The isekai itself and the OP training arc is not original, but done well. Espicailly since they adressed the pysocoical factors of prolounged isolation and didn't just sweep in under the rug in a training montage.
The bad
The bad guys are a bit too Saturday morning cartoonish. Also, I'm confused, are the major and his son supposed to be human or pig-demihumans? I know manga likes to make the bad guys ugly as a visual shorthand but this is a bit ridiculous.
