(I could point out that they only have the prince's assertion that it was an assassination attempt on her, and so hand-waving it as a misunderstanding in the dark would be quite simple at this point—but do I think the the author has thought it out that far? No, I do not XD)

@Wilhelm_Stenvall I'm sure the author truly cares very deeply about being rated less than a 7.9 on some website where his or her novel's manga adaptation is being posted without any form of permission, and not earning any money. I can't imagine how they would ever survive such a crippling blow.

@ParagonNight I'm inclined to agree that depictions of human discriminating against actual separate species is probably the most logical thing in the world as far as these sorts of things go. We do it for far less in the real world and all. I can understand not wanting to see it so often in fantasy settings though, since these are often supposed to be an escape from reality, including the reality that our species is kind of a collective dickhead about dumb things.

Okay, this is soo shounen for me. He literally tried to kill the princess. If the MC wasn't there, she would be dead, and most likely, this would have caused a war between the two countries.

I know shounen's are supposed to be forgiving to evil dudes... but come one, just because someone was discriminated against or lied to, doesn't make attempted assassination okay.

I could stand all of the other troupes, the stupidity, and terrible plot, because the wolf was fun, but man, this forgive the guy that tried to kill you is something I can't really take in shounens anymore.
