To live is very perigoso… I wanted the good with more força, of incerto jeito, you can already to be send if wanting the bad, for principiar. These people! All puxavam the wold for si, for the concertar consertado. But cada a only vè e understand the things dum your modo (translation purely for practice and based on what I know and would understand when I read this [using only words I know, no guessing]) *I think I might have a typo somewhere
I'm not Brazilian but I know Portuguese, so I can translate it for you:
"To live is very dangerous... To mean well too strongly, too uncertainly, you may already be doing harm right at the start. These men! All try to pull the world towards themselves, to fix it right. But each one can only see and understand things in their own way."
It's apparently a quote from the Brazilian writer Guimarães Rosa.

Thanks! How long have you been studying for? (I assume?)

Ah yes, the arc has reached the point in the anime version that convinced me to never spend a cent supporting this title. Characters this willfully selfish and/or crazy drive me up the wall... though I knew all that, and kept reading the manga anyway. Dunno what it says about me, but it's nothing good.

101 of negotiations: ease into the hard parts, don't just drop the heavy changes all of a sudden. If you do...

But honestly, Anise has never been trained as a sovereign and it's known and clear that she'd make a bad sovereign no matter what. The best she can be is a benevolent despot and that is that.
However, her spouse to be has been trained her entire life to be a spouse of a sovereign, if not outright to be the sovereign-stand-in to a lacking sovereign, who can't handle their responsibilities. So why not at this point, when you have "two queens" just have the better queen take on the head of the state capabilities and have the more talented queen keep doing what she does best.
That way the realm has a good and educated philosopher queen and a philosopher queen to guide the sovereign (queen) and also instill her inventions into the institutions and economy.

Of course the main issue, all of this was SHOTGUNNED at the face of Anise, when she was at a very fragile mental state. Have you ever heard of I don't know, taking things at a piece meal and letting people recover mentally before having them tackle on heavy and challenging topics. Then again, if they did, I don't think the lil'bro would've ever rebelled like he did.

Where is Stańczyk when you need him?
Hey new chapter of: "How my useless parents are actually the cause of most my problems and they never actually get called out on it"
FUCKING THIS!
King is damn bad at reading their kids aside from punching the elder sister and mother is constantly abroads on diplomatic missions instead of guiding her children...
And then they lament, that their kids grew twisted?
SERIOUSLY, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A DIPLOMATIC CORE OR A CHANCELLOR?
Especially the latter, you trusted the Duke enough for him to have high positions and for his heiress to marry into royalty, but you can't trust him enough to administrate the realm when you are busy actually raising the FUTURE KING/QUEEN?
Not to mention you have a SUPER TALENTED PRINCESS and YOU KNOW SHE IS FACING DISCRIMINATION FOR HER TALENTS and you DO JACKSHIT?

AAAH... you shouldn't ever look that deep into romance, you'll only find disappointment.

Gosh, the art for this manga continues to hit so damn hard. Makes the emotional scenes hit even more.

I wonder if Anis lashed out so hard because she didn't want someone else to go through what Al did again. After we learned about Al's backstory, it shows how much he cared for Anis and that all of the twisted things he did was a result of him trying to protect her from all the disapproval and hatred.

Once she realized that, she decided she'd rather play her part, instead of having someone go down a dark path like before. If Euphie takes Anis' role away from her, she'd just be offloading all of that burden to someone she loves again, like she felt like she did to Al. Just my 2 cents at least.

Tilty will claim MVP next chapter definitely, thanks for TL

How can she think that becoming immortal would please FMC? That "losing herself" would make her partner happy?

But what is more amazing is that everyone is thinking of doing different things instead of doing the most logical thing, punch some sense into the nobles 🤣
