She as a Traveller(reincaranted soul) , unlike every inhabitant of their world ,people who are original of this world are born as spiritdweller (their soul to be specific), spirits are part of the world, and she does not host a spirit inside hers, making her a "guest"(?) for this world ,the humans of this world use magic via prayer but said prayer is in a way a form of communication between the soul and the the spirit, thus the world. It has nothing to do about spirits not liking her
