Anis is under just as much risk of loosing herself.

Okey, but HOW did she kill/broke an inmortal? I was waiting for the explanation but there was none. Can you really kill them with normal weapons just like it was show in the corpse? I know the reason there's no one of her people around anymore is because they became Spirits at some point but that didn't seem to be case of her father?
Also, I like how gay Euphy looks in this chaptet and the previus one when she talks with/about Anis-
