Love when an isekai series decides it doesn't want to deal with the thing that made it unique anymore.

When I saw "let us dispel thy darkness" I was just like, oh no please don't. I was holding out some hope that maybe the rainbow eyes would just mean she had magic eyes but still couldn't actually see, but I guess not.

The funniest part about this one is that the manga got enough backlash that they redid that chapter so that the blessing didn't turn her white + kept her as dark-skinned for the rest of it, though it didn't last very long after that.

I really don't understand why people had a problem with that one, the "gods" had nothing to do with it. The story clearly explained from the start that the people had their physical characteristics heavily influenced by the spirits that blessed them. She was the only person with dark features because she was the only one blessed by the dark spirit, so it's extremely reasonable that her features would change once she was blessed by spirit of light, one of the most influential and powerful spirits of that world.

Not that it matters much at this point, the light novel itself is only two volumes, and with two manga volumes out there can't be much source material left...

So the whole gimmick is now gone? Is it gonna be like that manga where the mc has blessing of dark spirit so she has darker skin color. Later she got another blessing from light spirit then her skin turned white and the manga end not much longer after that.
