maybe she doesn't want death being committed in her name? They claim they are doing it for her, but she has multiple times said she doesn't want it, so continuing to do so proves they aren't doing it for her like they say they are.

Look up the 70s and how the Lebanese/Hezbollah (well, the group that they were before what they are now) taking hostages for the Russians worked out for them and their families (not well, every the remaining Russians were returned unharmed too).

It is really important to not confuse willingness to make sacrifices with pragmatism, and ruthlessness with effectiveness. I think either the long span of time between releases or your bloodlust has made you forget the plot, but they kind of need the Prince to prop up as the next king or the succession crisis will cause even more chaos. The Queen is not a terrorist organization, her strength comes from her authority which can be nullified with or without her physical presence. All she has with her is her queensguard, and her only choice now is to just run away with her life.

After the wrong she and her shit husband have done, they deserve worse than death. And if that results in them losing the prince, so be it. The nation will survive with or without him being propped up as a king anyways. There are generally others down the line to take over. It would still not be on them if his own mom had her queens guard kill him to save her. That is on them. They made the choice.

didn't Alberto in front of the prince already said it isn't on her name anymore, they have been chained for revenge for 20 years, the brother is the same, it's more like revenge for being weak and the powerlessness that letting their most important person to die curses them.

Then they shouldn't keep using the excuse that it's for her. They have been repeating it like a mantra but if they have already admitted to her what they are really doing, then they should show some fucking respect to the person they are avenging and stop using her as an excuse to do the things she doesn't want.
