What I understand from the raw, what she meant was the concealing trick. She hid the food using the cloth, which she could then hide (hiding objects is considered a low-level magic trick in this story). So does when she hid the flames (but surely the chandelier flames didn't use a cloth, just simply hide the light, like how she manipulated lights around her to make her glow).
