@HolyOrdos Rimuru while being genderless his human form is feminine since it used Shizue as a base which is why everyone thinks of Rimuru as a ''she'' and the form just becomes more feminine the bigger it is.

I am not keeping track of the manga that much but wasn't he blushing while being pressed against boobs on various occasions (+his promise before dying to make out a lot)? Shouldn't he being close to male?

@HolyOrdos Rimuru used to be a male with heterosexual feelings, but one could see it as Rimuru liking girls no matter what form/sex he has. Sexuality isn't tied to gender or sex, as illogical as that sounds.

That's not true. Rimuru's "base form" grows up every time he receives a power up. For example his human form grew a lot after he consumed the Orc Disaster. As for right now... well, just wait and see, I guess.

Nope. Read Chapter 11 again. Rimuru's default "adult" form is just as androgynous as it is right now. Though the anime skipped it in favor of the "more feminine" and "more masculine" versions, so I can understand why someone would forget about the "default" form.

This chapter was terribly beautiful and painful, really good for a side note. [I was kinda angry it was so short, then I saw 65.5 and remembered there's 66, so much win]
Guys all the talking on Rimuru this and that, he has a genderless woman inclined form and consequently a feminine voice, the same happens to men deprived from testosterone, the base form of the body's usually more feminine in nature or rather makes us reminisce of it. [Hate the voice in the anime though, not adequate at all. At least use different voices for each form -.-]

I came to the comments to see what the people would be talking about people like this soldier being innocent or not, or if things like this make Rumiru's acts less just or something. But all I see are people arguing about Rimuru's gender.

Is everyone really so upset with this thing about Rimuru's gender? The slime (and the normal human) form is genderless, and is hard to differentiate gender in a undeveloped (child like) body like the one he normally uses, and his people only treats his as male because of he identifying himself as that.
About he blushing with boobs and interaction with females, his mind is still of a 30 or so old hetero virgin guy, regardless of body its obvious that he would like women.

Now now, it wasn't EVERYONE.

In regards to the soldier, sure, he's as "innocent" as any soldier in an army is.
Heroes to the people they're fighting for and demons to those getting attacked.

He doesn't seem like a bad person but in this instance his morality doesn't matter.

Rimuru set out on his own mission (just as the soldier did) and he fully intends to complete it (hence what he did).

While he did say he would decimate the entire country if the amount of soldiers wasn't enough (can't remember if it was WN or LN though), he made it a point that he won't needlessly take lives (since he wouldn't be able to converse with other nations amicably ever again if he did).

um no but sorta yes...but that’s not what I meant as a “huge hint” tho.

It’s a huge spoiler so I won’t say anything more, I’m just saying that this chapter is really hinting a huge spoiler but you would only know about it nearing the end of the series which is still so far away.
So just enjoy the journey haha
