there are 2 types of Demon Lords. True Demon Lords (who have obtained the Demon Lord Seed and completed the Harvest Festival, receiving their title from The Voice of the World) and Self-Proclaimed Demon Lords (who haven't completed the Harvest Festival, but are still Demon Lord level in strength, or have otherwise been recognized by the other Demon Lords. I think, of the Demon Lords we know of, only Milim, Guy, and Rimuru are considered True Demon Lords.

@melbisbelbis "light novel chapter"? Are you sure you read the light novel and not the web novel? Light novel separate things by volume and each volume only had 5 (long) chapters so it should be easy to keep track of. If you're reading the web novel, stop now. The plot of the Light novel diverges from the Web novel and the manga adapts the LN.

@melbisbelbis Alright just wanted to let you know that the story is changed from LN to WN. A lot of WN readers I know are confused by some supposed "manga original" characters and plot when it's actually from the LN.
