Obviously because Ramiris doesn't know. She only just arrived. Where should she have gotten that info? One of the strengths of this series is that information is actually treated seriously. The characters from all sides often operate with severely lacking knowledge, causing them to shoot themselves in the foot, unlike other series where everyone is all-knowing and the only times where somehow someone doesn't know of something is when it's specifically for the plot, but here in Slime they only know about things if they actually had the opportunity to learn about them one way or another.

OK, listen up here, since all of you got it wrong, let me explain it for you:
There are 2 "categories" of Demon Lords, one is as a "Monster Class", the other is a "Social Position" and they are completely separate matters.
Putting aside whether or not they are named (a separate issue), there are 3 different "Monster Classes":
- Normal Monsters
- Demon Lord Seeds
- True Demon Lords
When a "Normal Monster" reaches a certain amount of Magicule capacity and possesses a certain unspecified mimimum of "Skills", then that monster will become a "Demon Lord Seed". The Orc Lord was a Normal Monster and after eating Gelmud he became a Demon Lord Seed and evolved into the Orc Disaster. After Rimuru defeated and devoured the Orc Disaster, Rimuru reached that class of Demon Lord Seed as well.
Clayman is also a Demon Lord Seed, albeit much stronger than the Orc Disaster.
When a "Demon Lord Seed" himself or via his subordinates kills about 10000 humans and collects their souls, he will start the so-called Harvest Festival and usually fall deep asleep even if the individual in question doesn't require sleep normally. The Harvest Festival evolves the Demon Lord Seed into a True Demon Lord, gives them a racial evolution, increases their magicule capacity (Rimuru 10x increase is not necessarily the same improvement as others) and potentially evolves their skills, then next the subordinates fall asleep and receive their own upgrades though on a somewhat smaller scale. The only for certain confirmed True Demon Lord in the manga version so far is Rimuru himself.
Now Demon Lord as "Social Position" is different and very straight forward. There are two types:
- Self-proclaimed Demon Lords
- Recognized Demon Lords
Anyone can self-proclaim themselves as Demon Lords, doesn't even have to be a monster. Infact Rimuru did just that, he declared himself one. And then there are the "Recognized Demon Lords", like all the members of the "Ten Great Demon Lords", and these don't have to be Monsters either. Milim mentioned at an earlier point that she can "support Rimuru becoming a Demon Lord" as well, so had he taken her offer at that point, he might not have needed to do it on his own like this and might have become a Recognized Demon Lord much more smoothly. Though even then, Rimuru as a self-proclaimed Demon Lord still got Ramiris as a Recognized Demon Lord backer to help him.
TL;DR:
Rimuru
Monster Class: True Demon Lord
Social Position: Self-proclaimed Demon Lord
Clayman
Monster Class: Demon Lord Seed
Social Position: Recognized Demon Lord (Member of Ten Great Demon Lords)
I hope this helps.
