Bit disappointing that C112 and C113 was mostly filler.
Volume 24 is going strong, cute demon girls as usual.

So spoiler question for chapter 119, is this leading up to the lil fox demon tricking Rimuru into naming all 9 of her tails individually, giving her a MASSIVE power boost, or is that still a bit off?

Cool story and an interesting premise, too bad it gives up on itself pretty early. "That Time I got Reincarnated As A Slime" is more like "I reincarnated and can turn into a slime when it's useful" since the MC gets a human form by chapter 10 and regularly uses that until the times come that they should be a slime instead

don't know if its different in the LN, but something I think the people in the manga and we the read forget is that we've never seen, so far, Rimuru muster his full army. For instance, when they fought off Clayman's army during Walpugis, in terms of JUST High Orcs that fought, there was maybe 10,000. But he has nearly 200k he can summon left over from when he beat the Orc Lord

This newest chapter has introduced us to MULTIPLE guys who are markedly more stupid than Philip from Overlord!

Rewatching the anime and rereading the manga, and started the LN, and I got to say, I really like how they portray Yuuki, vs his WN version. Stuff like despite his usual self, he grows angry at first when he met Rimuru and thought he killed Shizu, or how despite everything neither he nor Rimuru can fully hate each other because of their shared interests and over all goals.

Honestly it was a lot better before it became a civilization-building manga. Rimuru is incredibly passive as a leader and the manga is largely just him waiting for things to happen to him or having his subordinates do the actual work and decision-making. He's literally got a voice in his head that will analyze every piece of information available to him and tell him what he should do.

The whole appeal of civilization-building series is watching a leader make decisions and seeing how that shapes the civilization. 99% of the time, Rimuru just doesn't do that.
