I’m still confused why Aesir never became adventurer again up until the current chapter. Instead, he just chooses a slow life traveling around different countries (i forget for the reasons). on top of that, his money seems unlimited even though he doesn’t take any quests at all, and so far there’s still no romance for Aesir :haa: btw, the dog statue resembles the Hachiko dog statue in Shibuya.

I'll get that bitch a sword, bitches love swords!
This bitch thinks swords are unrefined? Wait until he sees this sword of mine!

But on a more serious note, I am wondering if Aesir isn't acting a bit arrogant in his approach to get in the good graces of this count Marmalos. There may be a far deeper reason why this man refuses to carry a sword. And being offered one, despite how truly exceptional it might be knowing Aesir's talents, this gesture might still blow up in his face.

Yea he might be better off making a set of chisels, but he may not really know how to make a set of chisels for stone working that the guy would like.

Ah, so that''s his future project: learn how to make statues of all his friends, so that they are remembered by others, not just himself. Nice thinking.

It's also interesting to see his perspective on the gods. He knows they're real, but for someone of his background and his powers, they aren't that impressive or worthy of admiration.

The nice thing about being a tradesman is that he can find work basically anywhere. All he has to do is go to the local workshop or blacksmith, prove his chops, and then spend a day or two (or a hundred) making nails, fixing tools, and whatnot to build up a little bit of cash. And, if he really needs the dough, I guarantee a proper sword forged by him would fetch a good price.

Even of he doesn't wear it, a properly fancy sword is a showpiece all on its own. Someone as arts inclined as the count is pretty likely to see that unless he's aggressively pacifist.
