I could definitely see that. If Gaspani was low enough on the influence pole for the king to strip his status with little repercussions, you would think a guild master can refuse more of Gaspani's demands. In most fantasy worlds the guild master wields authority close to the king, if not sometimes exceeding it.

I'm hoping the little sister of the king pushes for more than punishing Gaspani. The guild master definitely needs to be punished as well.
