Yeah, I don't mind them acting like a child. A child's brain is physically different after all. But I dislike when they switch back and forth as soon as it's convenient for the plot.

Yeah the translation is pretty bad. Even if it is MTL, some basic editing would make it flow better, which makes me think the translator doesn't know english at all. And if that's the case why even bother translating it to english in the first place?
