Actually I think it was a small jab at Yuri shippers telling them to tone it down, if anything she should have had a positive reaction to "renzuka" otherwise

Also have you noticed how hakari and karane have only interacted in non fanservice ways in the last 100 chapters or so? They do have scenes together but they only call each other fat/flat or throw jabs at each other anymore, those are probably deliberate choices the author took for when fan shipping gets too overwhelming, specially in the very manga that shouldn't even need shipping in the first place.

Both events would be part of a hypothetical third season since Chiyo is the twelfth girlfriend, the first one not teased in the final minutes of the first season, and Momiji is the fifteenth.

All of this assuming each season introduces five or six girlfriends.
