Remember this spring is never ending, who knows how long it’s really been I mean the cherry blossoms have bloomed twice this single spring which is literally impossible. It’s a floating timeline and it’s always being brought up by either Karane or Kurumi when someone mentions how long it’s been.

Also the part time job thing was a joke, since canonically his money pit is all the money he saved up since he was little. Who knows how much that is, honestly he might even have gotten a part time job at one point and we just don’t know.
