@Crevanille I remember seeing a crossover chapter with Yuragi sou no Yuna san and an all female series which title I don't remember. In the chapter Yuragi's main character didn't appear which felt strange to me. I later learned that with some all female series the heroines aren't allowed to be shown near a man even in collaboration stories because the fan base would go nuts at the mere idea. It creeped me a bit.

Now, going back to speculations about Rentarou's harem, the childhood friend is interesting because of the "look into each other eyes and fall in love at first sight" thing. Either the soul mate thing doesn't get triggered until a certain age, or the author would have to come up with some crazy backstory for how Rentarou never saw the eyes of his childhood friend. Knowing this series, it will probably be the latter.

@Lex79 Lol, even Go-Toubun, ReZero and Mahouka went through this. Otaku are so afraid of being an NTR-ed by fictional character that lately all-female franchises are afraid to show male characters even as one scene characters or background sprites.

@Lex79 This is called the "concept of love interest for everyone" (Azumanga mocking this back in the 00s). This is one of the main reasons why idols are forbidden from dating boyfriends for a while, and the characters in all-female franchises are always single and mostly don't overlap with men. It also makes shipping and things like yuri/platonic yuri easier, so outside of the ocean people often think it's the latter was the main reason for it.

I know I and some people keep asking this, but I wonder if the author will actually be able to get 100 girlfriends in this one manga, cause if so, then that would take more or less a decade to complete at this pace. And It's not like I don't trust the author, it just sounds absurd(idk if this is the right word, but whatever xD), cause it's gonna keep getting difficult to come up with new designs, tropes, and overall content every time.

Anyways, great chapter, I really love this series, and I hope it gets a very satisfying ending in like, 10 years or so xD.

@taffyx30 Well, roughly speaking, yuri is any kind of strong emotional bond between girls. Whether it's romantic or not. So, Kumiko x Reina from Eupho is platonic yuri aka romantic friendship aka platonic romance, and Utena x Anti is yuri in the traditional, romantic sense. One can argue for a long time about the reasons, but this is the situation now.
