I hate this American façade I hope it drops or she is getting added to the uselessly unique without a good reason list, or the plainly hated one (the cousin)
"With out a good reason" tell me you didn't read the chapter without telling me you didn't read the chapter.

Just because of some tapes (iirc)... Yeah, no reason lol. (By now there are many worse than her in terms of mentality, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a stupid reason.)

I was going to make a Bandit Keith joke, and then she turned out to not be American, just like him!

I was wondering how her speech was in the original text, and the page at the end explains it well enough. Considering her story, having her speak like a more exaggerated version of Applejack or the Dukes of Hazzard fits perfectly.

You wear shoes inside?! Americans what the fug
Depends on the person and the place. I know someone who wears their shoes inside because they live waaaay out in the country and it is actually impossible to keep scorpions from getting inside their house.

It was mentioned in the TL notes, but some people ignore them, so I'll expand on it a little bit.

Her character is a play on the "Yamato Nadeshiko" character trope. "Yamato Nadeshiko" are ideal representations of traditional Japanese beauty. Naddy hated that her parents were trying to force her to become one, so she became the exact opposite of what her name would suggest, becoming an Ameriboo (a non-American person who is overly infatuated with American culture).
