@Kardelune Honestly, I think it's just a really common trope in manhuas in general to show that the antagonistic woman is an extremely conniving person who's inciting and flaming violence in the MC's ex-friends/lovers/etc. I'm not too sure myself, except that these types of characters are scummy on their own tbh

Thank you for the chapter, that's interesting we are getting an antagonist for the arc that notices something is off with the FL right off the bat. Lol I miss Jiang Nian already and for her to go out in such soap opera esque fashion while her foster brother somehow survives, ouch lol. I was hoping we would get to see the FL try and be cute and innocent in order to maintain her cover as Lu Meng but it looks like we are getting down to business right off the bat.

Actually, she is taking the role of supporting character each time. She is never original FL of arc, her characters are antagonists for fake FL in timeline before MC entered the stage (we have three timelines for each arc: the first - how it supposed to be with original FL, the second - where reincarnated fake FL succeeded and supporting character failed(and even died) and the third - with fake FL, but our MC appears early enough to fix that all and ruin fake FL's plans (in order to get HP😀))
In novel there was original female lead in first arc, but she wasn't that important so in adaptation they just threw her from plot.

Despite how much I could hate a female character in a manhua, it always disturbs me how many authors will give them the ending of "selling" their bodies non-stop or something like that. I know in this manhua we're mocking stupid characters and blabla, but that doesn't change the fact that it's disturbing.

Also, idk how to feel about her foster bro's ending, the dude was acting a bit obsessive but he really didn't do anything unforgivable? I mean, even in the end he tried to protect/console her. Idk if he deserved to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. :'c

Anyway, I'll miss the fashion of the previous arc, she was a cool boss girl there, but her outfit is quite horrible, lol. And wtf with that dude, he's supposed to be her BFF but I guess his brain just disappeared once that blonde approached him (he probably had none since the very beginning, let's be honest).

I know everyones talking about this new arc, but Jiung xun, from the last ark (the brother) is stuck in a wheel chair for the rest of his life... thats such a bad ending for his character. And to sprinkle more on top of that, his crush (MC) DIED in his arms, whilst he was trying to protect her... sad, so very sad. And pitiful. :c

Sorry, I just liked his character, and wanted to have more screen time of him, but i guess not... oh well on to the next story.
