why was being adopted given such a negative connotation by humans

I think it's due the normative in our society that "biological children are more validate" or something like, not to talk about about the chock about something you didn't know all your life

Like me and my siblings are adopted too, but our parents always were honest about it, never hide this fact and always treat us as bio children. I think that's the way, like why hiding it? For me the only reason someone would hide this for their children is if them see as "less valid than a biological child" and that's messed up

Also since we knew that all of our lives, the fact that we are adopted never really bothered us, like I was a baby, the only relation I have with my biological parents are the proteins in my dna, which I care because it's important to prevent some potential genetic diseases or something. Of course I don't talk for all the adopted children in the world lol, but I think a lot of the issues adopted people have comes from parents trying to hide this
