Pretty sure they do, since that's probably how Lin and her sister were born (even tho chestnut's husband was an elf disguised), and they do comment on her being of mixed blood, which is why she ends up being mind controlled (even tho the author pushed the mind controlled thing a bit too much in my opinion, since that's literally the only role Lin had in the series since chapter 337? And they didn't even show what happened to her yet after she was defeated, and just like Miluo now she'll probably just appear again in a future chapter and already be fine or something like that, without giving any context or build up).

It's a shame, it was relatively entertaining up until about where they got the dragon lady and now it's going off the rails. I'm not even sure there's a coherent through-line from one chapter to the next any more?

Like many other times the author got bored of writing that plot point and decided to white a different story without bothering to create a different story.

This entire thing has been a series of half developed then abandoned plot points and characters. The author didn't even want to write the original premise for a good chunk of the early chapters.
