lmao why do people hate time travel so much 💀
i think it adds an interesting twist and adds another layer of complexity
whether or not the author can pull off a good execution is another thing but so far it's still looking good
Well, it's often badly executed, and I think pure fantasy with weird magic powers sounds more interesting than fantasy but really sci-fi. Still , I know at least few interesting stories that are based on time travel, and plenty of good fantasy that turn out to be dystopian post-sci-fi future or something. For example, Ragna Crimson is dragon-slaying fantasy that has time travel and is strongly hinted in first chapters to be connected to modern times somehow (cars and guns can exist) and I enjoy it as well. So, I'm gonna stay positive about the manga, unless writing takes turn to worse.

Lol Lucas is wild with his phrasing. I feel bad for Coura since her love's going to be unrequited.
I don't think Coura would mind too much.
Also good job driving away the lass Lucas, you've got better people that are close to you. On another note those are nice clothes Zoe.
As for our dear Pope, I think at least some of his resentment isn't misplaced.

World war with time machine reminds me of Steins Gate.

Now I hope the author can wrap that thing up because if the end is MC destroy all the towers, it's not happy ending at all. The happy ending is the solution to the sci-fi war. Probably branch something or magic something will be at play.
if one of the fixes that actually worked for shingeki's end is that the war never stops and if he can travel to the future we would be in another story, while destroying the towers and probably the means to send them in time (for his era at least) is the best ending he coule aspire

Love every bit. If you couldn't see the "time travel crap" from when time travel powers were introduced idk what to tell you. Go read a book by Anton Chekhov or something.

I'm not too fond of time travelling sci-fi stuff but the story is pretty good so far so I'm willing to the authors a chance.

Time travel is definitely a mechanic that's difficult to work with. There's a lot of questions, a lot of plot points, and a lot of ruined tension if the characters can just kill their enemies as a baby. For the purposes of the story, we see the exact limitations of that.

We learn from the Garland's father and from The Pope that the future isn't linear, but merely predictable. They can see into the future, but we quickly see that they can't determine it. A thousand things can happen, even ones they didn't see, and that's exactly why Lucas can win. Our antagonists don't need to be dumb to lose, they just need to be wrong, and in a totally believable way .

The author can totally fumble this, but they've already set it up so that there is a significant chance at it becomes good and successful so I'm hyped 🙌

"I'm into older women. 27 years old, but with the personality of a 9 year old. Someone with the appearance of an adult but still a child on the inside"

Based fucking groomer Lucas.
Thanks for the chapter
What's the age of consent in this era?

boo! Keep time travel and advanced technology out of fantasy manga!
It definitely feels like a let-down and lowers the stakes compared with before we knew that.
it doesn't make sense. If you were serious about using time travel to make your nation dominant and defeat other nations using time travel then you'd just give all the people in the past-nation advanced technology and have them start manufacturing guns and missiles.

Also "they say men of great accomplishments often possess a great desire for sex "
Who tf just says that?
I don't mind the time travel but I just hate how now it's suddenly the focus instead of being a mysterious background. Wished the mangaka focused on the medieval warfare a bit more and keep the future stuff for the second half

Of course the fucking Anglos started it.
They didn't: haven't you read the chapter? "A distant country, with a different name and a different territory".
If I have to take a gander, the contenders are/were/will be two or more of USA, China, Russia, India and Japan, because of course it is always about fucking Japan; and maybe one of the locals unwillingly dragged into this mess, like the king of mirror country. No one would want to fight a high intensity war with weapons of mass destruction in what will become their future territory: ask french, who are still digging out unexploded artillery rounds from WWI...
