I have so many questions right now. Also, I'm getting really bad vibes from this set-up. I felt uneasy this entire chapter. I kept expecting to turn a page and see something traumatic. Poppy is pretty obviously sus, but I always assume it's a misdirect, so I'll wait and see.

The "waiting for shit to go south on the next page" bit is usually uneasy enough as it is but as soon as they separated zoe and lucas I really couldn't ignore that feeling any more, reading through just silently wishing nothing bad happens offscreen to force lucas' growth or whatever but bracing for it nonetheless
