Sure... my only worry is Lucas' mental health, but I entirely agree that the temporal filth must be purged if peace is to be.

What those fucks did to the world can not be forgiven or allowed to continue, the world may never go back to what it was, but they have to be taken out of the picture.

MAN... that was straight up Quicksilver's scene from X-Men... and it was SO SICK... EVEN THE TITLE .

Speedsters are a scary category of supers, what they can do depending on the mechanics and how much they can manipulate of it is some downright terrifying shit... but so happy Miura flowered a bit.

Yes, Lucas did have personal feelings when he ordered this, but I don't think he will become a genocidal maniac because of that, he already suffered a lot of pain, but came through.

It will be a fine line for him to cross, but i entirely think he just made his conviction that this proxy war is bullshit and the futurist are just a plague.

Sure... I won't say that what may happen in his journey for that objective and even after he achieves it will be pretty... but I am confident that he will hold true, he isn't alone anymore, and day by day he matures in his intelligence and strength of will.

As they said, the futurists are just uncaring plant monsters, there’s no sympathy to have for them after what they confessed. Lucas is just done with sacrificing everything for unknowable powers that don’t care about him, his friends or his world, and that makes perfect sense. I’m just worried about if he is actually fucked by the Druid, they left them leave too easily…

The Pope is a utilitarian in a world where EVERY other character is self centered. He actually said he wants to kill the futurists. 'Win the war, stop Ramus production, let all the Towers die of old age'. Futurists, who depend on the Towers, die in that scenario. Lucas has now come to roughly the same conclusion, but on a more aggressive timeline... because Lucas is a selfish arse who doesn't care about the quantity of strangers' suffering required for his goals.

...and one other thing: Lucas just got access to the futurists' arsenal. That may shorten the war considerably, at the cost of a far more dangerous world long term.
