Well, we are far away from the cool army battles... for no real reason ? The author wanted to change it to a Black Mirror episode.

There are already other manga that are hundreds of chapters of just battle after battle like Kingdom. I'm happy the author is exploring other elements from the world he created and that he's pushing Lucas' character more than just being a basic "person who has a peaceful dream but is forced to fight" archetype.

In retrospective, it’s obvious Demi was not included in this arc because she would make things too easy for the heroes.

Really appreciating the series focusing on the intrigue of the future people, I like how the world is being fleshed out, and how the themes are being explored. I’m sure the epic army battles will return soon enough.

Couldn’t help but notice Todd had two right hands when grafted into the tree.

This manga has always has a "running pace" and it really took my slow ass several read to pick things up, i've thought that some futurist just has a sick femboy fetish (like people on discord) so lucas being turned into a seedbed was not on my bingo card
