I've read this manga a bunch of times already, and i can say that it is a masterclass on writing. The switch of the pacing is a welcome decision by the author, something like jojo's resetting arcs for example. If the manga will or not get axed, is another matter, but I don't think it is too big of a problem, so many good ideas get disposed of right away because they can't gather attention, and so many stay keeping on on keeping on only through hype. If all who have the means to buying it, buy, and still gets axed, we just have to hope the author will keep working and give us some new work.

This chapter was just a whole new level of absurd, I don’t know what I’m supposed to be feeling rn. Also I’m getting the vibe that the author may be trying to come to a conclusion soon but idk might just be me

Thanks for the TL
Think so too. The magazine is introducing 4 new series and this was on the chopping block since it's sales are really really low.

"The manga isn't selling well? Well, if I don't know how long I have left, I might as well just get weird with it then"
The author gets an advance notice. The author probably tried to go the experimental route with the rest of the chapters to test it and shake things up just incase there is a very very slim chance it gets an improvement in survey results. This is seen as a common tactic in Bakuman.

I am not really sure how to feel about these few chapters, things going unexpected, twisted direction. The author was doing perfectly so I will just continue to trust him with a fitting conclusion.
Can’t wait to see how Zoe will massacre them when she sees lucas pregnant(?!)

Does anyone know on which website I can buy the manga volumes? This would be the first time I buy a manga instead of just pirating it, so pardon my ignorance.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the manga.

You can buy digital volumes on Book Walker and physical volumes off of Manga-Republic.
There's also a buying guide that could be helpful.

sad that the series isn't selling well, at least I found it really good, not gonna lie didn’t expect to feel like when I was reading Firepunch week to week, like what did the author snort to go this route.
Hopefully we get the empire to dust before the axe.
