God-fucking-damnit... that dipshit annoys me just by existing... I am calling it, she will betray them, and there is no way the pope doesn't know that, she has "cowardly betrayer" CARVED on her forehead, she so obviously looking for a chance to betray them... that if she doesn't do it, it will be a twist.

I don't think she wants to betray them specifically, she just hates people being happy; when she will betray them, it won't be for her personal gain, but just a tool to make someone miserable. Lucas and Zoe, most likely...

Judging by memos 14 and 15 souls really do go to the towers after death, or at least the information of the person who died, and the pope extracts that information to transform into that person and use their face for his own personal gain (i.e turning into Zoe's mom to convince her to fight for him)
